Job Details
The Health Services Director will oversee the overall health care operations of the facility, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. This leadership role requires a compassionate and organized professional who can manage a team of healthcare providers, coordinate services, and develop health programs tailored to resident needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Direct and supervise the nursing staff and other health service personnel.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for health services in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular staff training and development programs to enhance quality of care.
- Resident Care:
- Assess and monitor the health needs of residents, creating individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Ensure proper medication management and administration protocols are followed.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing health services in assisted living.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.
- Quality Improvement:
- Evaluate and improve health service delivery through regular audits and feedback mechanisms.
- Address and resolve resident concerns and complaints related to health services.
- Community Relations:
- Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and external healthcare providers.
- Promote health and wellness programs within the facility and the broader community.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Iowa .
- Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare management role, preferably in assisted living or long-term care.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in health services.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and foster a positive work environment.
